News and Announcements

The Pacific Salmon Commission publishes and distributes news releases and regulatory announcements issued by the Fraser River Panel during the Fraser River salmon commercial fishing season.

The Pacific Salmon Commission also makes available announcements issued by the Enhancement and Restoration Fund Committees. These announcements provide information relevant to the mandate of the Fund Committees and include media releases, funding announcements, project backgrounders and calls for proposals.

See PSC News for information about what has been recently posted on the Commission's website.

Each summer, the Pacific Salmon Commission hires temporary staff as port samplers, test fishing observers and lab assistants. Permanent, full-time positions become available on a much less frequent basis. Click here for information about employment opportunities with the Commission.
