Memos and Summary Reports
This page houses the annual Chinook Technical Committee (CTC) Commissioner Summary Reports and CTC Model Calibration memos.
The CTC Summary Reports contain a succinct summary of the critical reporting elements that the CTC provides to the Commission each year to ensure the provisions of Chapter 3 of the Pacific Salmon Treaty are met. This includes (1) a review of catch and escapement from the prior year, (2) a report on the results of the annual exploitation rate analysis, and (3) a report on the results of the annual calibration and abundance projections of the Pacific Salmon Commission (PSC) Chinook Model.
The Model Calibration memo is produced by the CTC each year by no later than April 1 and contains the results of the annual PSC Chinook Model calibration process which is used to determine the annual catch limits for the three aggregate abundance-based management fisheries.
