What is the Pacific Salmon Commission (PSC)?
The PSC is the body formed by the Pacific Salmon Treaty, which facilitates implementation of the Treaty through research and regular meetings between national, provincial/state, First Nation, and U.S. tribal delegates to manage commercial, sport, and subsistence fisheries in both countries.
What is the Pacific Salmon Treaty (PST)?
In March, 1985 the United States and Canada agreed to cooperate in the management, research and enhancement of Pacific salmon stocks of mutual concern by ratifying the Pacific Salmon Treaty.

Where can I find fishery opening notices?
Seasonal commercial fishery openings are announced via the Fraser Panel’s regulatory announcements. All other openings can be found on the Fisheries and Oceans Canada website.
