VESSEL CHARTER FOR STRAIT OF GEORGIA HYDROACOUSTIC SAMPLING: AUGUST – SEPTEMBER 2018
As part of an experimental pilot project to support in-season fisheries management on Fraser sockeye, the PSC will be chartering a vessel and skipper to operate a mobile hydroacoustic sampling system for fish abundance within the southern Strait of Georgia. A vessel and its skipper are required during the months of August and September 2018 to undertake daily trips throughout the southern Strait of Georgia leaving from Burrard Inlet or the lower Fraser River, with trips occurring approximately 5 days per week over 5 consecutive weeks.
Interested parties should e-mail a CV including a description of the charter vessel and their boating experience to email@example.com. Applications will be reviewed as they arrive but must be received no later than April 30th, 2018. A charter vessel may be selected before that date if a suitable vessel is found.
